When traditional alcohol treatment hasn't worked, it's not because you're broken—it's because most programs only address the surface. I help you get to the real emotions and beliefs driving your relationship with alcohol.

You're here because you've already tried the "just quit" approach. Maybe you've been to AA meetings that didn't resonate, completed a rehab program but still struggle, or worked with therapists who meant well but didn't really understand. You're intelligent, successful in other areas of your life, but this one thing has you feeling defeated.
You want your life back. You want to feel confident in social situations without needing a drink. You want to wake up clear-headed and proud of your choices. Most of all, you want to stop feeling like alcohol has power over you.
The truth is, willpower isn't enough—and that's not your fault.

Reflecting on my life, it didn't unfold as planned, but I'm grateful for the unexpected paths and experiences. A turning point came with my loss of my father, followed by a tough divorce and the challenge of raising two daughters alone while building a community-based business.
Overwhelmed, I spiraled into addiction, causing emotional pain to my loved ones. They too felt helpless and directionless. Alcohol wreaked havoc on our lives for years. My defining moment came after a particularly bad bender, frequently referred to by my significant other and me as an “episode”.
In that moment, I knew I could “never put another drop of alcohol into my body.” Realizing, like the definition of insanity, that all my attempts to control or moderate my intake of alcohol were clearly not working. My episodes had to die.
After my last bender, I joined an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provided invaluable insights and lasting friendships. Two months into the five-month program, a dear friend introduced me to "This Naked Mind" by Annie Grace. Listening to the audiobook was a revelation, filling a void I hadn't realized existed. This sparked a reading spree, including "Quit Like a Woman" by Holly Whitaker, "How to Control Alcohol" by Allen Carr, and "Alcohol Explained" by William Porter just to name a few. These books debunked my limiting beliefs about alcohol, revealing the truth through science and evidence-based methods.
Annie Grace's book highlighted a "New School Approach" to addiction, offering a freedom I never imagined—no cravings, shame, or guilt. Understanding that alcohol had no benefits transformed my relationship with it, eliminating my desire to drink. This was the tip of the iceberg, I was just getting started.
Inspired by this transformation, I discovered Annie Grace's certified coaching program. Without hesitation, I enrolled to become a This Naked Mind's Affective Liminal Psychology coach, driven by a strong desire to help others redefine their relationship with alcohol. This is the journey I share with you today.
I'm an alcohol coach who's been exactly where you are—trying everything and still feeling stuck with drinking. After my own journey through traditional alcohol treatment programs that didn't address the real issues, I developed a different approach to alcohol recovery. One that actually works because it gets to the root of why we drink in the first place.
As an ALP - Affective Liminal Psychology certified coach, I combine science-backed, emotion-based methods with personalized support to help you create lasting change.
My clients don't just stop drinking—they discover tools for emotional regulation that transform every area of their lives. They build genuine confidence, improve their relationships, and finally feel like themselves again.
Focus on emotions and beliefs, not the behavior
Personalized strategies that fit your real life
No labels, no shame, no judgment
Tools you can use beyond alcohol in all areas of life
Most alcohol treatment focuses on the drinking, the behavior. I focus on the emotions behind why you drink. Through emotion-based coaching techniques, we identify the specific emotions, triggers, and beliefs that drive your relationship with alcohol. Then we build new neural pathways that give you genuine choice and freedom.
This isn't about white-knuckling through cravings or avoiding social situations forever. It's about creating lasting change from the inside out.
You deserve an approach that actually works—one that honors your intelligence and addresses the real issues. If you're ready to try something different, let's talk.
